A Day at Heirloom

Welcome.
Loomers choose a light breakfast or self-guided activity while waiting for others to arrive.A light breakfast option will be available for hungry Loomers.

Learning Block 1
Loomers explore a global city. New themes begin on Mondays.

Break.
We enjoy time to exchange ideas, move our bodies and take a break.

Learning Block 2
Loomers continue to explore a global city.

Project Block
Loomers participate in a structured project demonstrating learned concepts or a free choice project demonstrating learned concepts.
Structured projects are group oriented. Materials include woodwork, collage and drawing.
Free choice projects follow a planned theme and are self-directed. Materials include clay, paint and blocks.
New projects begin on Mondays and are completed by Friday of the same week.

Clean Up, Handwashing and Lunch
All Loomers should pack a lunch. Lunch will be warmed whenever needed.

Learning Block 3
We discuss concepts we’ve learned and skills we discovered.

Free Block
Loomers enjoy free time.
Snack
At 3:45 we begin handwashing and snack. Example Snack: Graham Crackers, Banana, Apple Slices and Apple Juice.
We want to keep snack fun and safe for everyone. The Snack and Allergy Form is completed during registration and can be updated during the summer to communicate snack dislikes and allergies.
At 4:00 pm, pick up begins and extends to 5:30. During this time, Loomers continue a free choice activity.
Project Preview: Summer 2026
We Discover:
Discover what economic drivers created the demand for the fastest train in the world, the Shanghai Transrapid.
We Build:
A knowledge base on how people-oriented solutions are sourced, solved and operated through the exploration of infrastructure and transportation. Media include video, exchange of ideas in a group discussion and collage.
We Explore:
Sharing and Presenting Ideas within a Group, Problem Solving and Visual Communication
We Create:
Conceptualize, build and operate a shop you would find in your local community.
We Build:
Ice Cream Cart. Materials include wood and paint (and ice cream!)

Ideation, Logic, Leadership and Collaboration

During the summer, Heirloom is open from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM. For earlier or later hours, please submit an Early/Late Summer Waitlist Form.
If you would like to get started on registering for the school year, please submit a September 2026 - June 2027 Registration Form. During the school year, Heirloom will be open from 3 pm - 6 pm.

During the summer, Heirloom is $70-$275 a week (Monday-Friday). Please review pricing here and call, text, chat or email with any questions.
Registration is FREE. There are no registration or administrative fees.

(June 12 is a 1-day week. Payment for June 12 will be due when payment for June 15-19 is submitted.)

Starting the Summer
Payments are due on Sundays. Late registration will be available through June 11 as long as spots are available.
For all weeks afterward, payment will continue to be due by Sunday. Payment for June 22-26 is due on Sunday June 14.
Paying in Advance
Parents and guardians are welcome to pay in advance.

Summer Saturdays with Heirloom will be on the third and fourth Saturday of July and every Saturday in August from 9 AM - 1 PM.

Explorative projects provide students with the opportunity to self-actualize their strengths resulting in confidence in problem solving and overall self assuredness.
The program provides opportunities to explore leadership, collaboration, problem solving and presenting solutions.
Enrichment
While learning new concepts, students have opportunities to enrich their skills in language, comprehension and logic.
When applying what they have learned, students have the opportunity to exchange ideas, pilot entrepreneurial experiments, build, paint and collage.
Enthusiasm
Students confident in their strengths and abilities are also enthusiastic to align their strengths within a group and are enthusiastic to take on self assigned goals.
The program provides opportunities to solve open ended, self guided projects and celebrate success.
